They may interact closely with internal staff and external vendor partners to effectively balance multiple content development workstreams. The Specialist is responsible for writing and editing the learning content for end-user training and creating job aids and documentation.Job Responsibilities:Provide Acentra Health Program Director, Client Training Manager, or Acentra Health Learning Director with project and content development expertise and management.Manage 1 - 3 Instructional Designers and 20+ courses developed according to the scope and plan.Manage one or more workstreams.Support logistics and delivery of training for 5000+ end-users during 24/7 training deployment.Plan and manage the day-to-day activities of team members, including prioritization of work, development and execution of 1000+ work plan tasks, coordination of resources, and meeting plans.Ensure high quality of deliverables as identified.Review final Acentra Health Product training for identified accuracy and completeness.Escalate non-resolved issues to the Acentra Health Program Director, Client Training Manager, or Acentra Health Learning Director.Report completion of work plans for outstanding work, issues, and risks weekly to the Acentra Health Program Director, Client Training Manager, or Acentra Health Learning Director.Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss team and training-related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.Work with other teams to coordinate team activities with other instructional design teams to integrate work and instructional design, build, testing, and delivery.Support training registration progress, check for registration errors, answer user questions and update reminder communications.Monitor Trainers in the classroom and escalate issues as necessary.Support storing and maintaining learning content such as lesson plans, tip sheets, exercise booklets, user guides, etc.Ensure data in the master training environment is available, accurate, and ready to support the delivery of all training sessions.Work with the Application team as required.Learn assigned Acentra Health application/system and applicable Acentra Health/Client clinical and operational workflows.Manage the development and implementation of training programs for the assigned applications and impacted end users.Act as a resource to aid in eLearning course development, ongoing new hire education, go-live/end-user support, demonstrations of the system, and other duties pertinent to onboarding & training.Participate in workflow design and system build sessions to gain an in-depth knowledge of the system functionality and rationale for the workflow designs.Prepare and maintain documentation and all course materials for role-based education.Build, maintain and prepare training environments for training classes.Work with Trainers to deliver end-user training. May be assigned to manage a team of matrixed support, such as Trainers who also present training.Required Qualifications/ExperienceBachelor's Degree or Experience in lieu of minimum education requirement will be considered.Minimum of five (5) years assessing training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating education and training programs in the field of health care.Minimum of Three (3) years of that experience in a management role developing and providing technical and end-user training in the fields of healthcare, medical bill processing or healthcare call center operations.Minimum 5 years of experience creating instructor-led training.Minimum of 3 years experience with systems application training such as healthcare applications (EHR, CRM, other billing software).Minimum of 3 years of experience with basic Project Management.Minimum of 3 years of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, or Lectora.Preferred Qualifications/Experience:Master's Degree.Eight years of experience in education/staff development and/or a clinical area, preferably a combination of both clinical experience and education.Eight years of experience creating instructor-led training.Experience with the Product suite of healthcare applications.Prior go-live training delivery experience.Training environments build experience.Why us?We are a team of experienced and caring leaders, clinicians, pioneering technologists, and industry professionals who come together to redefine expectations for the healthcare industry.
