You are part video director, part creative strategy, and part production manager and you will lead strategy development and execution of written, audio and video content, and management of the end-to-end client story creative production process. You will be asked to submit a portfolio of work during the interview process.
Job responsibilities
Direct the creation of original multimedia content, including written, audio and video, in coordination with creative resources, for websites, social media, ad platforms, intranet and more
Create and edit original scripts for videos when needed
Lead client vetting, reputation risk assessments, and coordinate with clients to secure proper approvals
Manage logistics for schedule, budget, agency and freelancers, film set, and oversee post-production
Create individual story arcs and determine the best format and asset mix for each story, coordinating with campaign managers to fulfill their marketing objectives
Develop a consistent narrative, look and feel to ensure coherence across all client story assets
Oversee all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production, including management of internal and external agency resources for video shoots, photography and editing
Align production timelines and budgets with program or campaign goals, maintain production schedule documents and calendars, and monitor performance of content metrics
Participate in meetings with senior business and client stakeholders to ensure program/campaign goals are met and manage stakeholder needs and expectations, and create presentations and communications for stakeholders
Develop questions and conduct internal executive stakeholders and client interviews
Coordinate with Commercial Bank marketing strategy, communications and events partners and various partners across the firm on client story amplification to maximize each opportunity
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10 years of production, integrated marketing, content marketing, marketing communications, journalism/media, public relations and/or agency experience
Highly organized, creative, collaborative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling and strong project management skills
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering digital, multichannel content via multiple formats (video, audio, written, infographic, multimedia presentations, social posts, etc.)
Advocate for high-quality, audience-focused content with a strong understanding of how user experience impacts content consumption
Proactive idea-generator and nimble problem solver – a self-starter who can quickly gauge needs, move fast, and agilely pivot if needed with minimal oversight
Critical thinker that can synthesize strategic inputs from multiple diverse sources and influence a shared vision, including across marketing, product, sales, events, banking and management
Excellent communication skills, including ability to deliver presentations to senior executives
Ability to learn fast and work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, understand new technologies and changes to processes
Occasional domestic and international travel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience creating compelling video content (news, television, digital video, creative agency)
Knowledge of video formats and best practices for web and digital applications
Pre-production processes including storyboarding, pre-interviews and vendor sourcing
