NoneJob Description BCS Allegient has an immediate opening for a Communications Analyst to join our growing team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and their Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER). The candidate will provide comprehensive support across various phases of the Rural and Municipal Utility Cybersecurity (RMUC) Program. The RMUC Program is dedicated to improving the ability of 3,000 eligible electric cooperative, public power, and small investor-owned utilities to protect against, detect, respond to, or recover from a cybersecurity threat, and to increasing the participation of eligible utilities in threat information sharing programs.This role is hybrid (days working onsite/working remotely)The salary range is between $80K-$120K (based on years of experience)Responsibilities:

Schedule, attend, and document virtual and in-person meetingsPrepare and distribute meeting and program-related documents in a timely manner for review and processingHelp develop a variety of communications products, amplification, engagement, and outreach plansSupport media and public outreach pitch development using various channels such as print, electronic, video, and web‐based productsProviding quality control and quality assurance to ensure products are accurate and adhere to all branding, communications, and government requirementsAssist in identifying, developing, and managing media targets, stakeholders, and audiences to communicate activities, campaigns, and initiativesAssisting with the full publication production lifecycle—from initial concept, outline, and messaging to product finalization and outreach/product promotionSupport outreach and stakeholder engagement activities, such as assisting, planning, and executing RMUC workshops, webinars, and eventsJob Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in writing, communications, journalism, or related discipline2-4 years of experienceAbility to work both independently and as an effective member of a collaborative teamExceptional communication and organization skillsExperience in managing multiple tasks at onceStrong organizational and time management skillsPreferred Qualifications: Experience supporting communication, outreach, and/or stakeholder engagement projects for the Federal governmentInclusion.
