Applications will continue to be accepted until this date.The Department of English at UCLA invites applications for a tenure-track position in postcolonial literature at the rank of beginning Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise in literature from Africa, South Asia, and the Arab world.We seek outstanding candidates with the potential for exceptional research, excellence in teaching, and a clear commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, graduate student population, and majors and minors in English. The Department values interdisciplinarity and welcomes applicants who pursue postcolonial studies via a broad range of methodological frameworks.Complete applications should be received by November 1, 2024

The salary range for this position is $78,200 - $101,400.
