Bitkey, a self-custody bitcoin wallet, and Proto, a line of revolutionary bitcoin mining products, are uniquely positioned to increase financial access and independence for people all over the world. We are looking for a senior interactive designer (L6) to join the Bitkey/Proto team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, who seeks out opportunities to contribute and who sees possibilities where others only see limitations. Due to the dynamic nature of our product offering, deliverables, content, strategy and directions are often in flux. This role requires an ability to stay nimble with shifting priorities and to, sometimes, make something out of nothing.
As a senior interactive designer you will be a design leader, contributing to brand and marketing strategy and design across both Bitkey and Proto. This role requires a mastery of core design skills (pixel perfection, typography, layout, interactivity, motion and storytelling), the ability to proactively mentor other designers while becoming an influential cross-functional leader. Because the Bitkey/Proto team is relatively small, every team member is expected to juggle multiple deliverables and contribute at every stage of the product marketing lifecycle. This includes owning design deliverables for websites, marketing campaigns, packaging design, branding and any other channels that our products leverage.

You HaveAt least (7) years of relevant professional experienceA portfolio that showcases work you were directly responsible for creatingExperience as a primary contributor to multiple high-impact projectsIn-depth knowledge of Figma, including the ability to create and leverage system elements, such as components and variablesIn-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other design toolsAbility to consider, define and utilize user journeys and UX thinking to inform design decisionsInformed taste based on a deep knowledge of design principles, trends and best practicesA drive and ability to create world-class brand experiencesA willingness to push projects forward in spite of ambiguitySupplemental, supporting skills, such as motion design, 3D, photography, copywriting or illustrationA strong desire to collaborate and work in the open
