Among the first of its kind, this team provides best in class audience strategy and consumer insights to a client that prioritizes centering their media approach around core audiences to help drive their business. As a new practice within Starcom, this role provides high visibility within the agency and is a great opportunity to join an innovative, evolving team and help create process and ways of working from day one.The Audience Strategy, Manager will use their knowledge to concept, design, and implement audiences that inform media planning and activation, creative briefing, and measurement solutions. We are seeking an individual who has a background in media activation with a genuine curiosity and strong desire to learn about audience strategy.While this is a management position, this role will not have any employees reporting into them. However, there will be many opportunities for leadership growth, senior client engagement, and high visibility with Starcom leadership.Build, activate, monitor and report out on custom audiences leveraging 1P, 2P, and 3P dataManage and track all audiences being executed across all digital channelsAssist Associate Director and Director in creating paid media campaign audience strategies and recommendations, presenting to media clients using an informed approachCollaborate with Strategy and Investment teams to inform on strategic audience approaches, optimizations, performance and activationWork in external data tools and research platforms to bring clients new audience opportunities and POVs (ex: Epsilon PeopleCloud, MRI)Define new ways of working to inform creative, messaging, media, and analytics workflows through the lens of audience strategyDevelop and maintain audience processes, deployments, taxonomy, and governance structures both internally and with the clientsPull overlap analysis reports and work with managers to provide recommendations for client business challenges as well as undetected revenue and growth opportunitiesAttend training sessions with various vendors and inquire about data and platform capabilitiesAssist in the development of client-facing materials, including data presentations and audience insight reportsCo-lead and present monthly audience performance reports to clients and internal channel directorsManage weekly status documents for both internal and external client teamsParticipate in team meetings and knowledge sessions to share new strategies for targeting campaigns and to provide feedback on platform and data performanceQualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a concentration in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights2-3 years of prior digital advertising experience in a client services capacity with hands-on knowledge of paid media activation as well as a passion for data-driven insights, and strategic applicationExperience or strong desire to learn about audience behaviors and how to apply data-driven behavioral learnings to activation strategiesBasic understanding of how DSPs, CDPs, 3rd Party data, pixels and Ad Servers come together in a media environmentFamiliarity with customer acquisition goals and optimizing to CPA, CTR, CPSV, Completion Rate, etc.Experience delivering accurate and insightful performance reporting, and applying critical thinking and data-driven insights to problem solveAbility to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyHistory of effectively managing clients and successfully working with internal teams to complete tasks and projectsStrong analytical skills, technical know-how, and strategic thinkingExhibit strong project management, storytelling, and communication skillsStrong written and verbal communicator, attention to detail, very organized, and the ability to follow projects through to completionAbility to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to work in an extremely fast environment with purpose, accuracy, and dependabilityProficiency in Microsoft Office solutionsAdditional Information Starcomis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
