Job DescriptionAs a Social Media Specialist, you’ll spearhead the social media presence for three distinct e-commerce ventures, crafting engaging content and implementing strategic campaigns across multiple platforms. This role demands a modern approach to social media, with a focus on creating captivating video content, reels, and short-form videos. You’ll be responsible for developing platform-specific strategies, managing content calendars, and driving meaningful engagement. Your expertise in e-commerce integration, particularly with Shopify, will be crucial in aligning social efforts with business goals. This position offers the excitement of working across diverse brands, allowing you to flex your creative muscles and stay ahead of social media trends.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute innovative social media strategies for three unique businesses
Create compelling, platform-specific content, with a focus on modern video formats and reels
Manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
Integrate social media efforts with e-commerce initiatives, particularly on Shopify
Schedule and post content strategically to maximize engagement and reach
Actively engage with followers, fostering community growth and brand loyalty
Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into content strategies
Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports
Collaborate with e-commerce teams to align social media efforts with business objectives
RequirementsProven track record in social media management and content creation
Expertise in creating and editing engaging video content for social platforms
Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools
Knowledge of Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong understanding of social media best practices and current trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple projects
Adaptability to work non-standard hours as needed
Creative problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to strategy development
