The Opportunity: As a computer network operations (CNO) specialist, you know how embedded or application developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the CNO capability development lifecycle. We're looking for someone like you to develop your problem-solving prowess in a rapidly evolving systems security research and development environment. As a Cryptographic Data Analyst on our team, you'll support the full project lifecycle. Working with an agile team of experienced professionals, you'll perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of diverse software problems. You'll inform operational parameters for complex systems and leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work. Using your network operations skills, you'll determine what the art of the problem is and what can be done, and then you'll bring it to life for your clients. 3+ years of experience participating in projects and investigations
Experience developing methods to diagnose weaknesses in cryptographic algorithms and exploiting computer network vulnerabilities
Experience using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques
Experience recommending packet collection, assisting in processing and analyzing information or garbled intercepts
Ability to design, implement, and analyze algorithms for solving problems
Ability to exploit encrypted materials
Ability to debug software programs and develop new cryptanalysis tools
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have: Experience with law enforcement or military cryptography or exploitation in relation to targeted data
Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
