Rowland Hall seeks a strategic and dynamic professional to join the admission team to assist in all aspects of admissions, retention, and recruitment for PreK through twelfth grade. The ideal candidate would be able to strategize with the marketing and communication and admission teams to create and implement new recruitment, marketing, and outreach strategies while also supporting the team with general admissions work. The Admissions Marketing and Outreach Associate would work across multiple departments and campuses and need to be proficient in managing relationships and projects.The Admissions Marketing and Outreach Associate would work closely with the Director of Enrollment Management, the two Associate Admission Directors of Admission, the Director of Financial Aid, and the Director of Marketing and Communication.The Admissions Marketing and Outreach Associate should possess strong executive functioning skills, be detail-oriented and adaptable, and thrive in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual will join a mission-driven admission team and must be eager to take initiative, share ideas, engage in professional development, accept feedback, and embrace new and creative approaches.Primary Job Responsibilities

Strategize with the Director of Enrollment Management, the Director of Marketing and Communication, and others to develop and implement initiatives to support Rowland Hall’s admission goals.Coordinate and lead outreach programs to engage with the community and target audiences.Collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, or other relevant groups to build and maintain positive relationships in the greater Salt Lake City and Park City areas.Develop marketing materials and content in conjunction with the marketing department that aligns with outreach goals, ensuring messaging resonates with the target audience.Work with administrators to propose and implement strategies designed to retain students through graduation.Work as a member of the admissions team, helping with tours when needed, assisting with database management, talking with families, helping with events, etc.Track and analyze outreach data, such as event attendance and communication engagement, while reporting on strategy effectiveness and adjusting tactics to improve outcomes.Participate in campus activities to gain a thorough understanding of Rowland Hall's programs and traditions, enabling knowledgeable explanations.Help inquiring families understand the school’s values and DEI initiatives.Oversee programs to welcome new families, including:

welcome events in the spring, summer, and fall to help families and students feel integrated into the Rowland Hall community.working with Home & School to create connections between new and current families.maintaining the new family portal with relevant information.

Skills and Requirements

Strategic thinking around data and marketing.A balance of detail orientation with big-picture thinking.Strong technology skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.Flexible and ready to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.Fluency and proficiency with data, marketing, and communication.Ability to manage databases.Maintain a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for education.Have experience with confidentiality in a professional setting; possess integrity.Enjoy being around kids.A bachelor’s degree, at least five years of relevant experience, and preferably some knowledge of schools.Additional Information

This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Management; the candidate will work with the admission team – the Director, the Lincoln Street Campus Associate Director of Admission, the McCarthey Campus Director of Admission, and the Director of Financial Aid – and the Director of Marketing and Communication. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Optimal start date: October 15, 2024. This is a year-round, exempt position.Equal Employment Opportunity
