Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will lead Kiniksa’s investor relations and corporate communications strategy. Working closely with executive leadership, the Vice President of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications will collaborate internally with a team that includes clinical, commercial, finance, regulatory, and legal functions to develop and communicate Kiniksa’s business principles, corporate vision and financial performance.
This role is based in our Lexington office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and one day remote.
Responsibilities
(including, but not limited to)
:
Design and implement Kiniksa’s investor relations program to align with the company’s strategy and goals
Develop materials, including press releases, corporate decks, and Q&A documents
Prepare quarterly earnings materials, annual reports, and SEC filings
Organize and participate in investor and research analyst events, including non-deal roadshows, conferences, R&D Days, and KOL events
Possess a deep understanding of Regulation Fair Disclosure requirements.
Prepare the management team for interactions with investors and research analysts
Track shareholder base, investor sentiment, peer performance, and capital market trends
Develop and conduct a metric-driven investor targeting strategy
Monitor and analyze research analysts’ consensus, financial models, and valuation frameworks
Lead the corporate communication function, focusing on promoting company goals and improving employee understanding of our corporate mission, values, and strategy
Provide accurate, consistent, and timely communication as the primary investor relations contact for investors, research analysts, media, and other stakeholders
Oversee strategic ownership of our corporate website and intranet site, including company announcements and general updates
Manage, mentor, and develop the Investor Relations and Corporate Communications teams
Manage relationships with third-party service providers
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA or other advanced degree preferred) with 12+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a focus on investor relations
Demonstrated success in leading investor relations and successfully developed and implemented strategic and proactive IR plans that have delivered results
Strong financial and investment analysis skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, including writing and editing
Ability to work well across multiple functional areas
Ability to work well and enjoy a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
Ability to draft and develop executive communications
Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
Ability to travel up to 20%
