On behalf of our client (Major Bank), Procom is seeking a Senior UX Designer!

IntroAs a Senior UX Designer, you will be contributing to and leading the design of the bank's digital products. Collaborating with Product and Engineering partners and UX Research colleagues, you will apply your extensive skills and experience to create high-quality designs at all stages of the UX design process, including ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.

Job DetailsResponsibilities include working closely with research, senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and our established Design System. Your designs will follow best practices, using research and testing to inform and validate. You will confidently challenge the status quo, encouraging all involved to address root causes to ensure the best outcome for users. Applying a positive and constructive attitude when giving and receiving feedback is essential. You will deliver high-quality design assets to the engineering team, along with clear guidance to ensure all aspects of the designs are fully understood. Providing ongoing support to engineering, with regular UX review checkpoints, is crucial to ensuring quality and that the system is being built as designed. Staying up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools, and ensuring all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility are important aspects of this role. Delivering on time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met, and escalating where needed are key responsibilities. You will lead by example, supporting, training, and developing junior members of the team, and moderate conflicts between colleagues and/or stakeholders, guiding to constructive resolution. Taking a leading role in the wider UX community, helping to define our standards and practices, is expected.

Mandatory Skills• 5-10 years of industry UX Design experience• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving• Experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects• Creative flair and a good eye for design• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Outstanding skills in professional design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision• Experience working with, and contributing to, Design Systems• Bachelor's Degree

Desired Skills• Experience in e-commerce/Internet/mobile space• Experience with agile methodology• Financial services industry and commercial banking experience• Master's degree
