Position Overview

The Marketing Content Developer will play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that enhance the firm's Growth brand, highlight our industry expertise and solutions, engage our target audience, and drive client acquisition and retention. This role requires a creative thinker with strong writing skills and a solid understanding of the professional services industry.

Responsibilities:Content Creation:

Develop and produce high-quality, engaging content for various platforms designed to promote Growth including blogs, articles, white papers, case studies, website copy, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with the firm's overall Growth marketing strategy and goals.

Research:

Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the accounting and finance industry.

Content Strategy:

Assist in developing and executing content marketing strategies that support the firm's business objectives from its Growth perspective and industry go-to-market channels.Identify opportunities to repurpose and update existing content to maximize its impact.

Brand Voice And Tone:

Ensure all Growth content adheres to the firm's brand voice and tone guidelines.Maintain a consistent and professional tone across all Growth communication channels.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other members of the marketing team, as well as with subject matter experts and industry consultants, to gather insights and information for Growth content creation.Collaborate with designers, business development professionals, industry leaders and the Chief Growth Officer on special projects that help convey our national brand and enhance our reputation within the industries we serve.

Editing And Proofreading:

Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.Ensure all content is free of grammatical errors and adheres to the firm's style guide.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.3+ years of proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry.Experience integrating AI-assisted writing and ideation tools such as Chat GPT into the content development process.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from various sources.Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of the accounting industry and its terminology is a plus.Preferred:Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyze the performance of content using analytics tools.Provide regular reports on content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

SEO And Keyword Optimization:

Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase organic traffic.Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into content to improve search engine rankings.
