US Public Relations Manager ! This role will lead key communications initiatives designed to amplify external engagement for Hill's Pet Nutrition. By working closely with the US Communications & Public Relations Director, the PR Manager will support key business initiatives, drive Veterinary / Professional & Animal Welfare communications, annual tentpole PR campaigns, etc. In addition, the Manager will publicize Hill's US cause marketing and philanthropic efforts. The Manager must be able to seamlessly navigate a matrixed organization and be able to liaise with key stakeholders to align and drive key communications priorities. This role will also be responsible for leading PR measurement and analytics to demonstrate progress toward measurable objectives and to continuously improve future communications.What You Will Do:Manage proactive external communications initiatives in the U.S. (community engagement, shelter/purpose-driven work), including Veterinary / Professional Communications and Tentpole campaigns; help manage PR agencies.Develop content for LinkedIn and other related Communications channels for the U.S. business; coordinate with Corporate Communications in these areas.Develop strategic external communications, including messaging, pitches, press releases, fact sheets, and reactive Q&A documents; develop US media relations strategies and conduct media outreach as needed; oversee US media inbox and manage inquiries as appropriate.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies and standards.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related business field.6+ years Functional experience in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.Strong media relationship and experience developing earned media strategies.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in the veterinary profession, animal health, pet nutrition or in a science-related field.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range $103,000.00 - $140,000.00 USDPay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location.
