With an average of 89+ million monthly active users, and WEBTOON adaptations on Netflix, HBO Max, and other screens around the world, WEBTOON’s passionate fandoms are the new face of pop culture. The company has worked with DC Comics, Marvel Entertainment, HYBE, and many more of the world’s biggest entertainment brands.We’re looking for a influencer marketing intern who can identify entertaining content creators who can extend the reach of WEBTOON’s series and brand personality, has a pulse on trending pop-culture, and thrives on telling stories through video content. You will work with internal stakeholders across Marketing and external partners.This is a paid internship position- 20-29 hour work week that’s flexible with your academic schedule- Hybrid program that runs for 3 months. Our office is based in Los Angeles, California.- Gain hands-on marketing experience in a professional environment.What You Will DoPitch social media partnerships and video ideas that will entertain anime, books, gaming, and drama fans with our series and/or brand loreRecommend new influencers based on audience demographics, social media metrics, and content stylesAssist with marketing campaigns and operations of our Ambassador communityUpdate and track multiple content creation and upload schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assetsSchedule, organize, and monitor content performance with social media management tools (e.g. CreatorIQ)Optimize influencer generated contents for owned-and-operated channelsOther duties and projects as assignedWho You AreYou’re deeply engaged in WEBTOON and entertainment, especially with action, fantasy, anime, and gamingYou must be knowledgeable about social media platforms from the brand perspective, including (but not limited to) TikTok, YouTube, and InstagramYou’re overflowing with social media ideas based on pop culture, memes, and storiesYou thrive on producing entertaining, trending content that resonates with Gen-Z audiencesYou can work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple projects with enthusiasm and attention to detailWEBTOON is owned by South Korea’s internet conglomerate Naver. In 2021, Naver acquired webnovel app Wattpad. The move aligned WEBTOON, the world’s largest digital comics platform, with Wattpad, the world’s leading webnovel platform.
