Software Development Engineer II, Visual Search Our team creates solutions for helping customers search and discover products using images. We are responsible for Amazon Lens, More Like This, and numerous other features on the Amazon app and website. We are developing advanced technologies to leverage our vast catalog of product images in ways that dramatically improve the experience of Amazon customers. We tackle complex problems in computer vision, machine learning, information retrieval, and large-scale distributed systems.

Minimum Qualifications- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- Experience building services and familiarity with web technologies and AWS.

Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent- 5+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience- Familiarity with one or more of: PyTorch, MxNet, TensorFlow, Keras, JAX, Caffe, or other gradient based learning framework.- Industry experience with any of the following technologies: S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Lambda, HTML, CSS, jQuery, NodeJS, Docker, Tomcat, Spark, Ray, ECS, EKS, Sagemaker, Athena.
