They routinely act as the design lead on existing and new software products and digital courseware projects. They may also be asked to participate in pre-build and ongoing UX and product research.The Associate UX Designer focuses on designing and developing new or existing products including: applying engineering principles to develop software products that meet customer technical/functional specifications; determining if proposed designs are technically feasible; supporting and participating in the design, test, modification, development of prototypes. 1-3 years of related experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Developing wireframes and design components in design systemsCreating and utilizing design system componentsDeveloping front end designs for both desktop and mobile useWriting user stories for planned design workCollaborating with subject matter experts, product, and engineering teamsCreating design and research documentationReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of design experience developing front end designs for web applications and software products.Experience with Figma or related design softwareExperience developing front end designs for React and Angular built front end frameworks.Certificates and Licenses: None required.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience conducting user research interviews, user testing, and user flow optimization.Familiarity with Jira and Agile working practicesBachelor's Degree in related fieldWORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.We anticipate the salary range to be $61,832.25 to $80,381.93. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
