We are currently seeking experienced Kitchen and Bath Designers at all our locations.
Responsibilities include:
Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen design needs and preferences
Use basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate dimensions for kitchen layouts
Create detailed kitchen designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Collaborate with clients to select materials, finishes, and fixtures for their kitchen
Provide product recommendations and assist with the selection of appliances, cabinets, countertops, and other kitchen components
Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines
Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
Oversee the installation process and address any issues or concerns that arise
Maintain organized records of client projects, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
Work with the inside and outside sales staff to generate new sales leads via telephone, electronic and in-person communication
Coordinate and schedule on and off-site meetings with both new and existing customers, serving as a dependable point of contact throughout the experience
Manage material orders with suppliers, including submission, review, and confirmation of all orders within the operating system
Stay current with new product offerings
Qualifications include:
2-5 years in a Kitchen and Bath Design position, or very closely related field preferred
Ability to sell products and services effectively to clients
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented
Telephone customer service experience preferred
Strong written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced computer skills
Experience using 2020 Technologies Design software
Experience in BisTrack order entry systems and Microsoft Office
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM (based on customer volume)
