Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a UI/UX Designer for an opportunity with a client located in New York, NY.Responsibilities:Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineersIllustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemapsDesign graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgetsBuild page navigation buttons and search fieldsDevelop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look likeCreate original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholdersIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedbackAdhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Requirements:A portfolio of high quality UX deliverables based on user goals, data and business priorities, including annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, highfidelity prototypes and production ready final assets that exemplify a deep understanding of UI/UX lifecycle and design principles to define user experiences and visual and interaction design through human-centered design solutions (e.g., flows, journey maps, service blueprints, prototypes, and user research)Exceptional knowledge of Figma to generate low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes as well as final designs for developer handoff and seeing built designs all the way through deliveryExperience working with and adhering to design systems and style guideA collaborative, Design Thinking mindset and the ability to advocate for the user, while operating with business and technical constraints and changing prioritiesA proven track record of excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and workshop facilitation skills to develop alignment with and between stakeholders to then execute on aligned roadmaps with quality and speed.Ability to effectively: present and communicate your designs and design decisions to various levels of product, design and business leadership; give and receive feedback; and adapt your work and designs to the needs and constraints of the businessExperience designing for both internal and external users by leveraging Service Design best practicesExperience working with Salesforce's Lightning Design System (ideally nCino as well)Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
