All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Come be a part of our team – you’ll work with great people, pioneering products and cutting-edge technology.What You'll Bring12+ years of marketing experience in B2B financial services, technology, information fields with a long sales cycle and enterprise level sellers, with at least 3 years at an agency or consultancy to B2B clients.Experience developing B2B marketing strategies deploying a full suite of integrated marketing programs (account-based marketing, traditional channels, digital channels including paid, earned and owned media, experiential event marketing) along with a solid knowledge of content marketing approaches.Expert consultancy and internal client relationship skills and abilities, particularly seeing the big picture while also understanding the nuanced details that can slow down campaign execution and engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and lead cross-matrix teams.Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell marketing ideas effectively, bring together and get the most out of the strategic expertise of multiple marketing leaders, resulting in thoughtful and innovative marketing plans, developed in a collaborative manner.Proven track record of demonstrated results (i.e. progress toward KPIs, ROI on marketing campaigns, etc.)Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.We’re Also Looking For The Preferred Experience BelowExperience with SaaS product is beneficial, but not a requirement.Impact You'll MakeTransUnion is seeking a Marketing Strategist who will lead a collaborative process for developing marketing and campaign plans that drive growth in our B2B businesses. A skilled facilitator and collaborator, you know how to encourage teamwork and cross-functional collaboration to arrive at a strong marketing plan that is built upon the expertise of channel and media partners, marketing leaders, content strategists and creative teams. As a seasoned marketer, you understand the importance of building marketing goals based on business and revenue objectives and know how to translate those goals into innovative campaign strategies that elicit action and change perceptions. You possess a unique blend of creativity and analytical acumen and know how to develop full funnel marketing programs that build the brand, encourage consideration and drive demand. You can think strategically (generating bold and innovative marketing strategies that drive growth) while understanding how to execute at the tactical level (to ensure we are recommending campaigns that can be executed on time and on budget.) You’re comfortable solving sticky marketing challenges, thinking differently, testing new ideas, measuring results and applying learnings to future campaigns.Reports to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Strategy, Creative and Brand.Develop collaborative processes for marketing and campaign planning that leverage the skills of other marketing leaders throughout the organization.Manage a holistic global marketing calendar; recognize patterns, duplication, and opportunities for efficiency by combining marketing activities and versioning for segmented audiences.Work closely with marketing partners to understand business objectives, translate into marketing goals and KPIS.Lead internal strategic planning engagements – sometimes to build multi-year plans, sometimes to develop detailed campaign flows and strategies.Socialize marketing strategies with stakeholders, securing alignment and agreement.Teach, train and lead marketers on strategic marketing planning and campaign planning best-practices.Collaborate with channel and media partners, content strategists, creative strategists, and marketing planners to develop multi-year marketing plans, and short-term campaign strategies that drive growth.Ask tough questions, challenge the status quo and up-level our strategic thinking.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform creative strategies and approaches.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion provides flexible benefits including flexible time off for exempt associates, paid time off for non-exempt associates, tuition reimbursement, additional (following any short-term disability) 10 weeks of parental leave with gradual return, adoption assistance, fertility coverage, spousal and domestic partner benefits, charity gift matching, employee stock purchase plan, retirement contributions with employer match, organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks, and access to TransUnion’s Employee Resource Groups.We are committed to being a place where diversity is not only present, it is embraced.
