Farcana, a game dev startup based in the UAE, is looking for a talented
Communications Lead
to join our dynamic team. We are developing a multiplayer online team-based shooter game powered by blockchain technology and aim to create successful games.
If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.Responsibilities:Oversees and produces, from concept to completion, a broad array of promotional and communication materials for the organization.Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and brand.Responsible for managing and enhancing the company's image and reputation in the market through executing an array of marketing communication strategies that promote the company's business and reputation within the gaming industry, as well as key target markets.Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.Develop, deliver, and execute PR plans, campaigns, and seasonal PR calendars.Produce content for press kits, press releases, award entries, and pitches.Identify and share competitor insights and manage external PR agencies.Manage media inquiries and interview requests.Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results.Requirements:5+ years experience & 3+ years leadership proven experience in PR/Communications, ideally including experience within the video games or entertainment sectors and at least basic knowledge in web3.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and an eye for detail.A problem-solving mindset with excellent written and verbal skills.Solid track record of developing and executing PR plans and communication strategies.Demonstrate analytical and strategic thought in planning, as well as the ability to execute creative tactics.Crisis-management experience being able to anticipate upcoming situations, escalate a solution-driven plan, communicate to stakeholders, and execute on time relevant to the crisis.Preferred experience in building and managing player communities.Native or close to native level of English.We Offer:An innovative project with no analogs in the market.Competitive salary.Flexible work schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (GMT+04:00), with flexible breaks and schedules.20 paid vacation days and 5 sick leave days.A startup spirit at the excellent team with passionate members and a toxicity-free environment.Participation in interesting and innovative projects.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Friendly and supportive team of like-minded individuals.Welcome to Farcana, a leading name in the AAA shooter gaming industry!
