Responsibilities span all phases of the hardware engineering life-cycle, including:Requirements analysisDesignCode developmentVerificationIntegration and performance targetsSpecific responsibilities include:Designing System Verilog code and integrating IP into the larger designWorking with Design Verification team on UVM benches to fully test designsUtilizing lab environment to validate designs and debug issuesHands-on design and lab experience with PCIe, AXI, and moreDocumenting the low-level design specificationsParticipating in and enhancing verification effortsRequired Technical and Professional Expertise5+ years of experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog developmentUVM experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplineExposure in digital design, ASICs, and FPGAsStrong communication skillsDemonstrated experience working with a teamSelf-starter who can work independentlyPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience with Xilinx FPGAsDigital design methodologies including synthesis, verification, implementation, and timing analysisExperience with AssertionsAgile developmentPython experienceAbout Business UnitIBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
