Join our talented team as we develop a high-impact design system web component library. This library is a critical piece of our company’s frontend ecosystem and is used across most of our products. As part of the team, you’ll contribute to building highly reusable, scalable, and performant components that power multiple applications and help shape the future of user interfaces across the company.Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain reusable, high-performance web components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript according to project requirements.Actively collaborate with peer developers, QA, UX/UI designers, product managers, and other relevant stakeholders to shape the product and ensure successful releases.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.Conduct code reviews to ensure software quality.Lead and participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalability and efficiency.Estimate development tasks and help prioritize work within the Agile process.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.Build and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure high software quality.Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and task estimation.Share technical information with the team and a wider audience through sprint demos, workshops, and other knowledge-sharing sessions.Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and overall productivity, including establishing and enhancing development tools and infrastructure.Ensure UI components comply with accessibility standards.Provide feedback on product quality, highlight risks or issues, and balance quality with timely delivery.Review UX/UI designs for technical feasibility and alignment with development standards.Manage and optimize CI/CD build processes and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to streamline development and deployment.Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve the development process and the web components library.Required Skills and Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.3+ years of proven experience in frontend development.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools for web components.Experience with CI/CD build processes and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Proven experience working in an Agile environment.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Why PTC?
