Wilmington, NC – Sunrise Broadcasting in Wilmington is looking for a dynamic and creative leader to serve as Program Director/Brand Manager for WILT-FM Sunny 103.7 HOT AC and WRMR-FM Modern Rock 98.7. This position will also involve hosting a live air shift and production duties.

You will manage and coach local talent across different departments to inspire them to make a difference in our listeners’ lives daily and schedule music that is consistent with the goals of the station. Our cluster of (6) radio stations break all the rules of radio thinking, and this position is not for radio traditionalists. Programming clocks, PPM, research, and liner card readers are not a part of our formats – creative, groundbreaking thinking is essential to the stations’ success.Our PD/Brand Manager must possess stellar verbal and written skills, maintain an understanding of Hot AC and Alternative + Active Rock music & culture. He or she needs to be highly organized, driven, and passionate about the music and the community. Familiarity with record label representation and promotional practices, imaging, and promotion creation is required. Additional skills needed for this position include an understanding of various audio-related software including, but not limited to: Music scheduling/software (RCS Selector), Nexgen Software, Audio Vault, Adobe Audition (music editing skills), Pro Tools, and more.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all content is on brand for each of our platforms (terrestrial, digital & social).Create fresh on-target music logs weekly, maintain consistent reporting for Media Base.Embrace the communities we serve, extending our brands within the community.Develop innovative, fresh content/sources that can be used across all our platforms. Content generated should bring eyes and ears to our brands and our clients and drive revenue for our cluster.Core Skills Needed:

Management skills – minimum 3 years experience in broadcast/on-line/social media management is essential.
