WXII/WCWG TV is looking for a Local News Executive Producer (EP) who can be a strong leader in the newsroom and oversee newscasts. You will manage, coach, and motivate a team of producers, reporters, anchors, editors, and photojournalists who strive for excellence. You must be an effective communicator and make decisions under deadline pressure that contribute to the success of the product. As Executive Producer, you must have a solid producing background, strong news judgement, and ethical integrity. The Executive Producer will work closely with other news managers, help recruit new producers, and help the employees they supervise be successful. You will report to the News Director.
