You know how to help an ACD get the most out of their team - and you know how to get involved with a team of junior creatives to help them over a hump.You’ll supervise a full-spectrum creative team: ideators (designers and writers), ACDs, Designers, and Technology experts.You’re thinking about the team and its capabilities - addressing skills gaps, training talent, and keeping the pipeline fresh - bringing in new talent to grow a team that’s rapidly expanding.You’re an outstanding pitcher and want to be the creative face of the agency to your own portfolio of brands. And most important of all, you’re a creative mind that thrives on discovering new ways to move the needle for clients.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLead the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentationsManage and supervise multiple projects and teamsEnsure resources are allocated according to project needsDirect the design and development of creative materialsEnsure brand identity and message consistency across channelsMeet client objectives, values, budgets, and deadlinesLead and participate in brainstorming sessionsKeep up with the latest trends, strategies, and technologiesEvaluate creative team performance and guide improvementsWrite copy against copy guidelines and brand tone of voice for film, print, digital, and socialLead teams and ensure strong and non-traditional creative output, while reporting into the Executive Creative DirectorManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesCreate structured work that clearly articulates a campaignable ideaProcess information supplied by client/strategy/account services and translate into effective creative workProof creative work to ensure accuracy of informationPresent work and develop relationships of value and respect with the clientHelp the agency develop a strong and positive relationship with the advertising community to help recruit top talentStay up to date with new innovations and industry trendsEXPERIENCE & SKILLSA proven track record of success in experiential, marketing, PR, environmental design, or traditional advertisingAn established leader with a track record of developing talent8+ years experience in XM, Marketing, advertising, or design… or a track record that shows why you’re ahead of your peersStrong Portfolio: You demonstrate originality, innovation, and multi-disciplinary thinking through your workLeadership Skills: You demonstrate strong leadership skills and can organize, motivate, and improve the creative output of those around youBig Unconventional Idea Thinker: You go beyond the executional or tactical tasks and come up with innovative campaignable thoughts that work across all mediaVersatile: You are a strong Art Director with design pedigree that can work in film, print, web, and socialTeam Player: You are positive, collaborative, and a contagious spirit, who works well with othersEntrepreneurial: You take initiative and proactively come to the table with new ideas to push forward the creative work and develop the client relationshipProduction Savvy: You know how to work within budgetary constraints and have experience working with photographers, directors, and vendorsTime Management: You can manage your time, hit deadlines, and be on time for meetings, while juggling multiple projectsCultural Player: You contribute to the culture of the agency and take part in activities that foster the agency spiritSALT XC OFFERSCompetitive company compensation and benefits packageDynamic work environment and support of a growing creative agency with a start-up cultureFlat corporate structure.
