Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Reports to: Senior Director, Advertiser AnalyticsAs a Sr Manager on our Advertiser Analytics team, you partner closely with clients and industry sales leads to understand the client’s needs; and lead a team of highly technical analysts who use sophisticated data and analytics techniques to deliver against the client’s goals leveraging a breadth of datasets and appropriate analytic techniques, storytelling, and data visualization.Responsibilities:Partner with Clients and Industry Leads in Sales to develop strategy for insights and analytics in support of account growth and retention.Lead a team of analysts, coaching & developing them to draw out actionable insights and support revenue driving results.Work on problems affecting some of the largest and fastest growing consumer businesses in the US by leveraging our unique whole-wallet transaction data set.Work with large datasets using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and other tools.Design, build, and launch collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases across different products or domains.Drive strategic initiatives including identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing the analysis, and translating data into meaningful insights and actions.Lead the creation of new and valuable data decisioning methodologies that increase demand for Cardlytics products.Mine purchase data to understand customer spending habits, competitive landscapes and customer journeys.Develop new analytic products and methodologies into repeatable self-service tools for internal and external consumption, addressing client/industry business and marketing needs.Ensure delivery of insights and analyses with end-to-end ownership, clear communication, and operational processes that drive visibility and accountability with stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications:Advanced Analytics and Design of Experiments 5+ years of progressive Analytics experience including experience as a team or project lead.Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, etc.).Experience leveraging big data technologies (Hadoop, Netezza, Vertica, AWS, etc.) and modern data visualization tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker) to blend data from multiple sources to help answer multi-dimensional business questions.Areas of expertise include segmentation, forecasting, econometrics modeling, predictive modeling, graph theory, marketing effectiveness measurement and optimizations, customer behaviors, site analytics and business growth initiatives.Advanced experience in statistical concepts including Test/Control methodologies.Thriving under pressure in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.A degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Market Research or similar fields, Master’s degree is preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Data Science, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning experience is a plus.Experience with data analysis in the Travel or Entertainment industry.You are:A collaborator who will partner across external and internal organizational teams to drive revenue and expand adoption of Cardlytics’ solutions.Results oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at a time.Curious and always go beyond what is happening to discover why.An effective communicator with a solution-oriented mindset.A strategic thinker who focuses on larger, longer-term issues and defines evolving future opportunities, integrating your business knowledge with market needs.A leader who can connect the work of team analysts into cohesive insights and strategies and mentor more junior team members on technical skills.Core ValuesOur shared values are the driving force behind everything we do.
