We are led by Danny Ludeman, former CEO of Wells Fargo Advisors, and a Board of Directors comprised of corporate executives and healthcare leaders. Our team at Headquarters provides essential services to support the delivery of our re-entry model.Since our inception in 2015, we have driven a 56% reduction in reincarceration among our participants within three years of their release from prison. Overview: As Executive Vice President, Head of Marketing, Communications, and Development you will be responsible for all revenue generation at Concordance via branding, communications, and public and private funding. Reporting directly to our Chairman and CEO Danny Ludeman, this role will develop a cohesive brand story for Concordance to inspire donors, all levels of government, and all external and internal stakeholders.Your role will involve:
Building and executing a strong marketing and communications strategy to generate funding
Understanding and communicating Concordance’s mission, vision, and values
Designing a marketing strategy that resonates with stakeholders and drives fundraising success
Working closely with the executive team and Board of Directors to ensure progress toward marketing and communications goals
Evaluating the efficacy of marketing and communications campaigns with metrics and data
Working closely with the CEO and development campaigns
Ensuring connectivity between marketing strategy and development campaigns
Partnering with the CEO on community engagement and donor relations, including special events
Managing the marketing, communications, and development team
Managing the Director of Communications, Director of Development, Development Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Director of Public Funding, and Relationship Manager
Working with external vendors as needed for marketing, PR, communications, and development needs
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise The right candidate will come with:
Passion for our mission
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people
Ability to manage Marketing, Communications, and Development budget
Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
Ability to effectively serve as an ambassador of Concordance with community stakeholders, donors, governments, and internal teams
Skill in analyzing, interpreting, and using data to collaborate, identify best practices, and drive results
Ability to manage CRM platform
Required education, licensure, and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Development, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or development
5+ years of experience managing a diverse, professional team
Experience working with media and managing inquiries and opportunities
