Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Corporate Communications Intern for our team in Los Angeles or our Washington, D.C.-based office hub. This position will support members of the U.S. Corporate Communications team, which includes media relations, internal communications, paid media, and social impact communications. This position will have exposure to each important area. In this role, you will be part of a team sharing the SHEIN corporate story across press, events, and paid and owned digital channels. You will have a chance to write content for a variety of formats and develop communications plans for company announcements.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with SHEIN executives and different teams across the company to learn about how a global eCommerce company operates. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, extremely organized, collaborative, always thinking one step ahead, and interested in pursuing a career in the communications field. Job Responsibilities
Draft daily media monitoring report
Draft daily team updates reports
Manage team calendar with upcoming media interviews/speaking engagements
Coordinate with cross-functional and regional teams on messaging, event logistics, scheduling, and stakeholder relations
Coordinate details for upcoming office openings
Draft press materials including media lists and pitches
Conduct administrative tasks including vendor payments
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Team player with an ability to roll up your sleeves and oversee projects independently from start to finish
General knowledge of or interest in the retail industry
Pay:
$23/hour
