CHEMISTRY & BIOCHEMISTRY (02113A)Duties and Responsibilities As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the PBEnergyLab, you will play a vital role in advancing the research agenda. Your responsibilities will include:The experimental synthetic development, characterization and electrochemical performance testing of the inorganic solid electrolytes, along with engaging scientific communities for feedback.Supervision of master and undergraduate students from various science programs at Loyola University Chicago.Work to optimize the operating conditions of Na- or Li-ion batteries and re-designing SEIs.Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

PhD degree completed in a related disciplineExtensive experience with Schlenk-line based colloidal quantum dot syntheses using hot injections, size segregation of quantum confined inorganic materials, expertise in some of the following characterization techniques (TEM, EDS, XRD, XPS, FTIR, optical spectroscopy, Raman, SEM, Glovebox operation, device manufacturing).Supervisory Responsibilities NoDoes this position require direct animal or patient contact?
