This role includes managing IT staff, ensuring efficient delivery of IT services, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. The IT Deputy Manager reports directly to the IT Director and supervises other IT staff members. The IT Director provides oversight and ensures the training of all IT staff by scheduling, organizing, and assigning projects to IT team members. The role of the IT Director also offers opportunities for growth and development, as the IT Director will conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, administer discipline, and facilitate terminations of IT staff as needed per company policies. Additionally, the IT Director will play a vital role in collaborating with senior managers on the project to effectively utilize technology applications within their respective areas of responsibility.Position Title:

Martyr BG Ali Flaih AB, IraqJOB RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain technology operations, including systems administration, network management, telecommunications management, system and data security, system and data backup, and emergency recovery plans.Plans for, establishes, and maintains base-wide database systems. Responsible for ensuring data integrity and assisting staff in data access and utilization.Provides leadership and oversight in identifying hardware and software needs and purchases, ensuring the components are consistent with the IT infrastructure technology plan and project guidelines.Participates in discussions on the impact of evolving demands and expectations on the project's IT infrastructure.Anticipates and develops strategies and programs that respond effectively to anticipated needs and the changing IT profession.Advises the project manager and other stakeholders on the financial implications of all technology and communications needs.Conducts periodic reviews of policies to determine when modifications are necessary to advance the goals of the IT department and to serve the overall needs of employees and managers and the overall project.Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information; facilitates IT security audits or investigations.Tracks hardware/software versions and licenses to maximize enterprise consistency, ensures timely renewals for support agreements, and provides statuses for relevant end-of-support dates.Oversees and ensures compliance of asset-related service-level agreements are executed between the project and vendors.Prepare financial budgets and present proposals to the project manager and other stakeholders.Establishes an environment where all staff members are comfortable and forthcoming in sharing their ideas, needs, and concerns, and the staff collaborates to seek solutions and resolutions.JOB QUALIFICATIONSThe required certifications for this position are ITIL v3/v4, CCNA, or Higher, CompTIA CASP+, VMWare VCP, MSCE, or high-level Microsoft Certification, and CAPM.PMP, CISM, or CISSP is preferred.A certification in risk management is desirable.A minimum of 15 years of documented IT experience is required.Three to five years of Azure/O365 Cloud experience in a hybrid environment is required.Proven managerial experience in IT or similar roles is required.Proven experience troubleshooting a broad range of applications, servers, operating systems, and networks is required.Experience providing IT solutions in a project environment is preferred.Experience managing Microsoft Suites products is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONSThe candidate must be aware of the possibility of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.Must be able to live and work in harsh climatic and austere environments.Must be able to sit for long periods in an office environment and able to lift up to 50 pounds.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
