OverviewCrocs is hiring a Director, Crocs Social Media, for our highly collaborative, and hard-working global marketing team. This person will own the team's strategy, execution and global scaling of brand-building digital and social media for Crocs.Our ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is innovative, and who is equal parts futuristic, collaborative, organized and committed. They will lead all aspects of an outstanding team and will focus efforts on driving brand momentum and awareness of key products and brand stories globally using the latest and greatest digital strategies. They can think big but also put pen to paper to document and communicate across regions and functions.

The person who fills this role will have the opportunity to craft, nurture, and further catapult Crocs into being a best-in-class leader in digital. They will drive and improve consumer connectivity and brand relevancy in our vital marketing channels, while ensuring that we are aligned in our approach, constantly learning and delivering in our key markets globally. What You'll Do

Leverage data, insights and industry/competitor trends to craft strategies that support Crocs’ digital-first yet 360-integrated global marketing strategies.

Activate your team, agencies, marketing and cross-functional collaborators to bring ideas, programs and campaigns to life.

Align, collaborate, and learn with marketing partners globally to ensure strategies are scalable, locally relevant, and seamlessly driven across geographies. Drive a culture of open communication and partnership globally.

Measure, listen, report and apply consumer and business insights to advise on future directions and approaches.

Own all brand and company social media channels in the US (including but not limited to IG, FB, TW, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat, LinkedIn) while supporting global channels in our regional markets (like LINE, Weibo, WeChat, Kakao, Red, and Douyin)

Lead the small-yet-mighty global social media marketing team and all its members, committing to performance and fostering an engaged, collaborative, results and learning-driven culture.

Serve as company-wide authority for brand influencer and social media; share plans, findings and standard processes for digital, activate all social channels as well as our employee base to drive social media performance.

Find opportunities where we need agency support, leads RFPs, and owns agency relationships/scopes.

Partner with our creative team to build hyper-relevant, digital-first content to support our campaigns and programs.

Find opportunities to further establish Crocs as the digital leader in our space, then create activation plans to bring them to life.

Drive real-time social media campaigns to engage in cultural, consumer and trend conversations.

Develop, deliver and institutionalize standards and toolkits.

Build and enhance tools like our global social media playbook and annual channel strategies to clearly define what we stand for and how we activate on brand-led social media channels around the world.

Optimize existing processes to improve alignment, communication and our speed-to-market.

Protect the brand - hold self and all global partners accountable for adhering to brand standards, guidelines and rules of engagement.

What You'll Bring to the Table

BA or BS or equivalent experience in business, marketing or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of social media marketing experience or equivalent, preferably in the consumer goods, services or food industries.

Strong leadership skills, ability to lead team and drive alignment across diverse functions and geographies.

Highly collaborative, can connect with marketing peers to drive creativity and execution of ideas.

In depth knowledge of key and emerging social media platforms with solid understanding of global platforms and standards.

Ability to convert data, listening reports and findings into clear and impactful strategies.

Excellent teammate; knows how to build strong relationships across marketing functions (PR, integrated marketing, creative) and with various collaborators across the organization (finance, ecomm, retail, wholesale, legal).

Can prioritize multiple projects, and maintains a sense of calm in a storm.

Some global travel.

Position requires off-hours support as needed to accommodate for global calls and the real-time nature of social media.

Salary or Pay Range: $165,000-$175,000

Workplace Persona: Collaborator

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
