This role ensures that all documentation adheres to agency communication policies and standards and uses appropriate grammar and style guidelines.Major Duties:

Collaborate with management to create comprehensive policy documentation, guides, and manuals that align with organizational objectives.Edit draft documents to ensure consistency, clarity, and coherence within each document.Write and/or edit a variety of documents, including policies, procedures, and technical papers.Prepare documents for printing and distribution, ensuring they meet all formatting and quality standards.Maintain organized electronic files of document drafts and final versions, ensuring easy access and retrieval.Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and meets editorial and government specifications, adhering to established standards for quality, graphics, content, format, and style.Work closely with subject matter experts to create, edit, and revise materials, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.Perform additional writing and editing duties as assigned to support the organization’s communication needs.Professional Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum of four (4) years, preferably six (6) years, of demonstrated experience in technical writing, reviewing, and/or editing technical documentation in business, government, or industry settings.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proven experience in formal editing, with the ability to ensure consistency and quality across all documents.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. This position may require flexibility to manage tasks as needed.Other:
