Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing visually engaging and intuitive interactive elements for consumer and commercial facing websites, company intranet and web applications, both desktop and mobile. You will work closely with our product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create interfaces that end users will find intuitive and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

Oversee design process from establishing requirements, defining features, and developing deliverables rooted in user-centered design and feasibility

Design visually compelling and intuitive interactive user interfaces for desktop and mobile web applications

Create storyboards, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and detailed UI designs to effectively communicate design concepts

Conduct research activities including usability analysis, competitive analysis, and user testing to validate assumptions and uncover areas of opportunity or unmet needs

Work with cross functional teams to explore strategic opportunities, solve complex and ambiguous problems, and advocate on behalf of our users

Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure visual consistency across all application areas

Requirements:

8+ years or relevant work experience in UI/UX design, working on large-scale applications. We’ll ask you to show how you made a meaningful difference in applications that delighted many millions of users

Strong portfolio that helps us understand your process including short project descriptions, wireframes, mockups, and final design artifacts

Track record of leveraging UX/UI to improve visitor engagement metrics

Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite

Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches

Excellent understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Able to synthesize input and feedback from diverse stakeholders, actively seeks common ground, and constructively works to design a great product.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Aware of accessibility considerations

Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment with geographically disbursed colleagues

Education

Bachelor’s degree in design, Advertising, HCI, Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience required.

Working Conditions

Ability to travel 10% of the time
