The Director of Marketing at Oberweis Dairy & Ice Cream will be responsible for leading marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, grow brand loyalty, and ensure successful market expansion. This role will oversee customer segmentation, loyalty program development, grand opening initiatives for new stores and the execution of integrated marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and consumer marketing, with proven expertise in data-informed decision making and passion for building brand connections.

Responsibilities:

Owns development, execution and adherence to brand strategy and positioning across all consumer touchpoints. Leads development and execution of annual integrated marketing campaigns.

Accountable for defining and delivering close-in innovation (such as rotations, limited-time offers). New Platforms/Transformative Innovation: Work closely with Innovation partner agency and Operations to help develop and qualify new products based on what will resonate most convincingly with consumers and retailers.

Translates consumer & customer insights into brand/portfolio building ideas and activities.

Utilize strong analytical ability to analyze trends and insights to improve campaign performance.

Lead the marketing strategy and execution for new store launches, including event planning, promotions and local outreach to drive store traffic and maximize grand opening and continued operational success.

Develop, execute and analyze online marketing strategies including the web site, email marketing, paid digital advertising, paid social campaigns and search engine optimization.

Design, launch a reimagined loyalty program aimed at increasing customer retention and lifetime value through compelling rewards, promotions and exclusive offers.

Budget management across investments to ensure efficient operating model, value and financial reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a marketing role.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing campaigns.

Experience managing rewards/loyalty program.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Computer proficiency: proficient in MS Office suite [Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint].
