Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Marketing and New Business Development to join our Ashland LLC business as a hybrid teammate out of Bridgewater NJ.

This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Personal Care team. This position will report to the General Manager, PC, NA.

Responsibilities:

Drive regional marketing strategy and voice to market for Ashland’s Core portfolio

Partner with global marketing to ensure alignment in the innovation process

Work with key customer partners to map the path to new platform adoption

Ownership and steering of commercial external partnerships

Extensive partnering with R&D

Qualifications:In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

10+ years in a technical B2C role influencing innovation, as well as robust B2B experience

Must come from the Personal Care Ingredients Industry

Experience leading a team and driving strategy development and adoption

Travel up to 40% mostly domestic but some international

Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and function in ambiguity

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

Master degree or above

Brand experience as well as ingredient supplier experience

Five years of management experience
