Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.What is the opportunity?As a Marketing Supervision Manager, part of the Business Supervision Group, you would be responsible to review advertising and communications created for both clients and the general public from a regulatory and compliance viewpoint. When appropriate, reject materials, make recommendations to improve communications or amend policies and procedures, and train employees.You will have the opportunity to learn and grow new skills, develop your career and do work that matters in an ever-evolving fast-paced environment.What will you do?Review and approve, edit or reject advertisements, marketing material and communications submitted for review within prescribed deadlines; ability to resolve or escalate issues as needed.Provide advice to business partners on new regulations and marketing technology, review marketing materials and other communications, and resolve or escalate any issues detected to mitigate regulatory risk to the firm.Support other areas of Business Supervision Group to address issues and help enhance BSG’s workflow and supervisory procedures.Collaborate on requests from both field and corporate employees to approve print materials, social media posts and website content.Advise on social media content, navigate new social media platforms through Hearsay Social.Follow and develop supervision best practices.What do you need to succeed?Must-have5+ years of experience in retail financial services; 2+ years of compliance, legal or supervisory experience, preferably in marketing/communications review or similar role.Demonstrated understanding of the US wealth management business, including laws and regulations relating to broker-dealers, Registered Investment Advisors, ERISA and others.Detail-oriented; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Required FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 or ability to obtain within 2-4 months.Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field or 10+ years commensurate experience.Nice-to-haveDemonstrated facility with business communication, ability to collaborate with team members, and leadership capabilities.Writing skills, with emphasis on written professional and corporate communications.Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, think progressively to keep growing, and work together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and our communities prosper.
