UI Developer

Duties:Responsible for designing and developing User interfaces for a regulatory reporting application; maintain and support the existing interfaces; define, build, and test the solution, often working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time; drive implementation of key features using Lean Agile methodology; prototype new technologies and capabilities to build a state of the art, cutting edge system; drive and participate in design and development of complex applications, and work with multiple teams across the organization; participate in architecture consulting to enable design decision; lead design sessions where appropriate; responsible for design tradeoffs between speed to market, financial and strategic impact; support the successful implementation of initiatives; utilize Karma, Jasmine, REST API, JSON, JavaScript, GitHub, Jenkins, Angular, Visual Studio, Jira, Bitbucket, and SQL Server to perform duties; promote adherence of designs to blueprints, architectural principles, and enterprise standards; responsible for intuitive UX and UI design; write cross-browser and standardized, compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability, and performance requirements; use modern client-side technology stack for front-end engineering, including JavaScript, Angular, React, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass/LESS; and use AngularJS to develop responsive single page applications.Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;Salary: $187,200 per year;Minimum Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Software Application Developer, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer, as a Specialist - Software Engineering, or in a related occupation;Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Karma, Jasmine, REST API, JSON, JavaScript, GitHub, Jenkins, Angular, Visual Studio, Jira, Bitbucket, and SQL Server.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.Because referrals have and continue to produce some of our best performing consultants nationwide, Genesis10 will reward you for your referrals by paying you a referral fee of $1000.00 which shall be paid in 2 installments:First Installment: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our clientSecond Installment: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month.
