Location: 100% On-site, In-person Role

The Social Media Strategist will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the company's web traffic and engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. They will be responsible for researching and identifying target audiences, setting goals, and analyzing performance data to optimize social media efforts.

This is an on-site (daily) role and contractor must living within the city limits of Philadelphia.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Social Media Strategy:

- Create and execute a social media strategy that aligns with business goals and brand identity.

- Define KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns.

- Research and identify target audiences and develop content that resonates with them.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

- Plan, manage, and optimize social media campaigns across various platforms.

- Coordinate with content creators, designers, and - other teams to produce high-quality content.

- Schedule content and manage the publishing calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.

Market and Audience Research:

- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.

- Analyze audience behavior and preferences to tailor content and campaigns effectively.

Content Strategy and Development:

- Develop content themes, topics, and ideas that align with the brand's voice and objectives.

- Oversee the creation of original content, including blog posts, videos, infographics, and more.

- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all social media channels.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, SEMRush, Salesforce).

- Generate reports on campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics.

- Use data to refine strategies and improve future campaign outcomes.

Collaboration and Team Leadership:

- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns.

- Provide guidance and direction to social media managers and content creators.

- Work with external agencies and partners when necessary.

Paid Social Media Advertising:

- Develop and manage paid social media campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve specific business goals.

- Optimize ad spend to ensure cost-effective results and maximize ROI.

Crisis Management:

- Develop strategies to handle negative feedback, public relations crises, or brand controversies on social media.

- Respond quickly and effectively to any social media-related incidents.

Brand Advocacy and Influencer Collaboration:

- Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to amplify the brand's reach.

- Develop strategies to leverage user-generated content and build a strong online community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.

- Proven experience with social tools such as Sprout Social, Hoot Suite, SEM Rush, ahrefs, Adobe, CapCut

- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends.

- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.

- Strong experience demonstrating expertise of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising (including retargeting strategies).

- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.

- Ability to think creatively and strategically.

- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (Adobe or similar).

- Familiarity with and experience using CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (Ortto, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).

- Experience in influencer marketing and brand advocacy programs.
