If you’re interested in leveraging and honing your technical writing and reporting skills as a part of a program team that gathers, distills, and provides critical insights into cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of mission-critical government systems, we have the ideal role for you to start your new career path at Parsons!As part of our team, you'll get to leverage your Technical Writing Skills (while continuing to learn and improve your skills alongside our subject matter experts), to perform comprehensive technical writing tasks within a team of Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Intel Analysts supporting DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities. Technical writers get matrixed into Project Teams to perform cyber hygiene and vulnerability assessments on major weapons and space systems.Our team maintains a strong focus on our people first, mission-focused culture, while ensuring we also maximize your work happiness. We leverage your future dreams and help select topics from our myriad of internal trainings, to build your customized career path to make Parsons the best place you've ever worked!What You'll Be Doing:Revise and complete deliverables on scheduleMaintain the current draft on the systems' Interlink SharePoint PageEnsure the Strategic Cybersecurity Programs (SCP) Evaluation Report's language is complete, consistent, and clear.Ensure SCP deliverables are developed using the most current SCP documentation standardsServe as a SCP documentation SME to the Evaluation TeamEnsure all acronyms and abbreviations in the SCP Evaluation Report are properly definedAttend all status meetings with the SCP PMOCommunicate status, dependencies, risks and issues daily/weekly to the Evaluation Project Team LeadKeep internal Confluence page and Configuration Item (CI) Log updated with the latest revision and location of SCP Evaluation ReportsAssemble Main Body and Annexes into Full ReportWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:6 years experience in production and/or editing of technical documents to include specific experience in writing for non-technical audiences (relevant degree in science, math, information systems, or engineering can be substituted for up to two [2] years of experience only)Experience providing Technical Writing support within Engineering teamsExperienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) productsAbility to consolidate technical inputs and analyses, and produce a logical, understandable documentAbility to read and modify engineering drawings/specificationsAbility to interpret, absorb, and synthesize large quantities of engineering or technical information for non-technical readersAbility to enter technical studies, metadata, and data into relational databasesAbility to upload content onto websites using COTS web authoring toolsAbility to integrate existing graphics into documents using various COTS toolsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsActive TS/SCI + PolygraphWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:10 years’ experience providing Technical Writing support within System Engineering teams developing system vulnerability assessments and evaluationsBachelor’s degree in STEM related fieldMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
