Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.The Associate Media Director role will develop and manage the day-to-day media strategy, planning and execution of all assigned client programs, working across a mix of awareness and performance marketing media channels within both traditional and digital media. They will assume responsibility for day-to-day campaign management as well as maintaining positive relationships with clients and our creative, strategy and technology teams. The Associate Media Director will work in close partnership with our account, analytics, strategy, creative, and programmatic teams to develop programs that drive business outcomes for our clients.Requirements/Skills:6-8 years of media experience overseeing strategies across channels and teamsExperience working within an integrated media team across digital and traditional mediaExperience in client-facing environments and serving as media leadExperience managing a team of 2+ media professionalsDemonstrated ability to execute high-impact marketing campaigns that exceed client KPI’sFamiliarity with both brand and performance media KPIsAble to consistently produce results while meeting deadlines and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge and expertise of ad serving and tracking platforms such as Google Campaign ManagerStrong PowerPoint skills required as well as demonstrated ability to create client ready presentationsKnowledge of comScore, Ad Intel and Simmons as well as other media planning and competitive tools a plusProficiency in Excel and experience working with an advanced analytics team preferredBA/BS in marketing communications or related fieldResponsibilities:Oversee day-to-day client planning teams to develop media strategy and plans against client objectivesManage a team of media supervisors, media planners and media coordinators within AMP’s Media TeamOversee development of media strategies and plans for assigned books of businessOversee development of RFPs and selection of media partners for media plansPresent client presentations and serve as a day-to-day media contact for assigned clientsWork with key client contacts on deliverables and timelines to ensure internal team is set up for successPartner with Media Leadership on planning updates and team managementPartner with analytics on insights generation for campaign performance, ensuring agency story-telling aligns with client’s business KPIsVerify all planning materials such as flowcharts and digital schedules are up to date prior to submission to Media Leadership and ClientsWork with internal programmatic team to develop applicable audience and data strategiesOversee the creation, and presentation of media strategies and media plans to clientSign-off on workflow processes for campaign launch, reporting, optimization and financial reconciliationWork with internal finance team on invoice reconciliation processes, ensuring key timelines are being metLead communication with external agency partners of our clients, ensuring creative and media strategies are integratedWork with internal planning team to develop custom, bespoke partnerships with media partnersAbout AMP Agency:AMP Agency is a full-service, integrated marketing agency with offices in Boston, New York, and Chicago. Bachelor's DegreeField of Study/Area of Experience: 8+ years of experience in Media at an agencySkills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong understanding of both awareness and performance digital media channels and strategies, including display, mobile, video, paid search, programmatic and social mediaPrevious success in the planning, development and management of digital media campaigns for brands or productsExperience with DoubleClick and other 3rd party tracking solutions preferredExperience with the following technology platforms preferred (Self-Serve Programmatic DSPs, DFA, Facebook UI/FBX)Ability to analyze data and deeply understanding of measurement practices, 3rd party measurement companies and web analyticsDemonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneouslyProven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skillsAbility to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a teamExceptional organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and digital marketing trendsTravel and/or Driving Requirements:Travel is an essential duty and function of this job.
