Technical Writer
with a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!As a Technical Writer, you will:Analyze and prepare documentation, write, edit, and interpret technical documentation standards and prepare documentation accordingly.Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of a Technical Writer:Write a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.Coordinate the display of graphics and the production of the document.Ensure content is of high quality and conforms with standards.Help author reports, plan and strategy documents, and meeting minutes.Job Requirements:Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.At least 3 years of experience, background, and knowledge of one or more Defense Programs is required.BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, or Information Technology.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Planning and organization skills.
