Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.RETTEW is seeking a highly motivated Designer with at least 5 years of AutoCAD experience in gas and water pipeline projects to join their Natural Sciences Team in the Environmental and Geotechnology Practice. The candidate will assist Team Leads, Project Managers, and Environmental Scientists on existing and upcoming projects primarily within the Tri-State Area. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, with in-office work and hybrid options available after six months.Responsibilities:Providing design support for gas, waterline, and utility projects.Preparing various design documents to support the project teams, including E&S plans, permit plans/exhibits, site restoration design plans, utility crossing exhibits, etc.Requirements:Two-year technical school or associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.5+ years of experience.General understanding of designing linear projects.Experience with permit plan preparation is preferred.Create Plan view, profile, and data bars for sheet layouts.Experience using Civil 3D design.E&S Control Design.Knowledge of Vault System in Civil 3D.Minor Grading Activities (as required).Experience with processing, exporting, and importing GPS data.Experience with IFA/IFB/IFC drawings a plus.Experience with landslide repair exhibits/cross sections a plus.Microsoft Office software proficient.GIS experience a plus.Perks & Benefits:Our company offers a wide range of perks and benefits, including ESOP as a 100% employee-owned company, flexible schedules, and generous medical, vision, and dental insurance.
