Job Posted: July 2, 2024The purpose of the Lead Graphic Designer is to create and protect Calvary’s visual identity and brand through high-level graphics. The Lead Graphic Designer oversees all aspects of graphic design, ensuring consistency and excellence across all platforms of Calvary.

Main Job Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction and StrategyDevelop and execute the overall visual style and graphic content for all church communications, including but not limited to sermon series, major events, promotional materials, digital graphics, etc.Collaborate with the Communications Director to create and maintain a consistent brand identity.Develop style guide for Calvary Church and for major events, coaching fellow communications team members how to work within the parameters of the style guide.Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of our visual content.Project ManagementManage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality able to be achieved in the given timeframe.Coordinate with various departments to understand their design needs and provide effective solutions (this pertains mostly to major departmental events; the junior graphic designer will work with departments on all other graphic needs).

Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience
