Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., Senior Technical Editor (Multiple Positions), Nashville, TN

Oversee technical review of reports in the area of water resource engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, and civil engineering. Manage technical and compliance review of proposals teams against requirements outlined RFPs and sources sought. Provide enhanced analytical, coordination, and documentation to solve complex issues that may arise in document preparation and invoicing to client. Collaborate with Document Management/Document Controls Manager, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to develop, implement, and enforce project-specific procedures, while ensuring that those procedures conform to company standards. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Technical Writing, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:

Producing graphic, audio-visual, simulation and script design, and layout work;

Adobe Creative Suite CS6 including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;

Producing engineering reports, specifications, publications, and proposals;

Engineering terms and equations for publication in reports;

United States Federal government document publication requirements;

Federal Standard Form 330 used for Architect-Engineer qualification based on responses in sources sought or request for proposals (RFPs).

Telecommuting permitted 3 days a week.
