The Parish of Saint Francis of Assisi is seeking a dedicated Director of Music to lead our music ministry. This part-time position offers an opportunity for professional growth, and to enrich our Liturgies with sacred music from the past and the present.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and direct music for weekly Masses and special liturgical events.
Select appropriate hymns, choral pieces, and instrumental music in accordance with the liturgical calendar.
Collaborate with the pastor in the selection and planning of music.
Conduct the choir and musicians.
Accompany the choir and congregation, with the flexibility to cantor.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in organ, piano is a plus; familiarity with Catholic liturgy is preferred.
Ability to direct music in English & Spanish (1 Mass in Spanish on Sundays, ability to speak Spanish not required, but helpful).
Experience in directing choirs.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A passion for music and faith.
