Job Summary:

As Senior Manager, Digital Marketing for Gaia Herbs, you will lead our comprehensive digital marketing efforts, driving strategy and execution across paid, owned, and earned channels. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating omnichannel social commerce anchored social, email, and direct to consumer plans that amplify brand visibility, and drive engagement, acquisition, retention, and loyalty for the Gaia Herbs Brand. You and your team will also serve as a Center of Excellence supporting the Gaia Herbs Professional and Salus brands, delivering enterprise tools, execution, and direct support that can be leveraged and scaled by non-directly managed brands. As a critical team member, you will be directly engaged and involved in work across marketing, and a critical leader, you will sit on the Marketing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CMO.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Thought Leadership:

Develop and implement cohesive digital marketing strategies that align with brand and business objectives and ensure a consistent and compelling consumer experience throughout the omnichannel path to purchase. Execute digital best practices while identifying, assessing and recommending latest opportunities for innovation and growth.

Digital Storytelling and Community Building:

Deliver clear and compelling personalized brand experiences, highlighting Gaia Herbs premium points of difference across the multi-touchpoint digital landscape, attracting and engaging new to brand audiences and cultivating long-term customer relationships.

Performance Optimization and Reporting:

Analyze performance metrics across channels and tactics to optimize campaigns and creative to maximize marketing efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Provide regular updates on digital marketing performance, insights, and optimizations to senior leadership.

Team Management and Collaboration:

Lead and inspire a diverse team of marketing professionals, including two direct reports responsible for content, social, strategic communications, and partnerships. Partner with Brand, Creative Services, Insights, Sales and IT colleagues, and agencies to foster a culture of results-oriented creativity and collaboration.

Budget Management:

Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation, actualization, and optimization.

Passion:

As a leader in the organization, your expertise and energy will influence beyond social, email, CRM, SEO, and influencer marketing, but build capability for nimble execution through the organization with the very latest trends and approaches to tell stories, drive brand awareness, engagement, community, and growth.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing with deep understanding of consumer behavior.

8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with extensive experience auditing and building best-in-class digital marketing strategies across multiple touchpoints and activations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proven track record of successfully managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with an intimate knowledge of social media, email, paid media, CRM, and marketing automation.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Experience managing multiple brands and associated agencies and stakeholders.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
