Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.Project Manager - Data Center Design - Atlanta, GAFor this role, you will manage and lead the engineering and design of facility and building systems for Data Centers and other Critical Facilities Projects. You will oversee all phases of project management/project delivery: design, quality control, staffing, and budget management (P & L) while following Industry Best Practices.

Responsibilities:Interface with clients to define project requirements and establish project work plans and deadlines.Manage client relationships and expectations with effective communication.Ability to manage multiple projects, champion design reports, and produce engineering proposals (RFPs).Track progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.Generate reports and track project costs and financial forecasts.Monitor expenses to ensure they fall within the prescribed budget.Manage project team by providing direction and monitoring effectiveness.Work closely with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal/external team members, customers, and suppliers.Understand and follow company policies and procedures.Follow company strategy for market penetration.Manage business development for new and future projects in the area.Ability to manage a team of engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:Hands-on experience managing Data Centers/Critical Facilities Design Projects.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture is a MUST.P.E. license/AIA - either have these certs or working towards them.PMP certification is a plus.Experience managing engineering projects in the engineering consulting industry, A/E, MEP arena.Project management experience in the Consulting Engineering Industry.Client relationship management and business development experience.Effective communicator with strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.Computer savvy with Microsoft Project and Excel. Ability to create complex reports and forecast modeling.
