Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.Job Location: Salt Lake City, UTJob Code: 15782Job Schedule: 9/80, every other Friday offEssential Job Responsibilities:Experience with creating S1000D data modules and managing S1000D projectsAdvanced experience with Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)Experience authoring Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, Technical Orders (TOs), Technical Manuals (TMs), User’s Manuals, and other related technical documentsKnowledge of and experience writing to military standard requirements (MIL-STD-38784, MIL-STD-40051, MIL-DTL-38807, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong editing and proofing skillsCapability to research and analyze detailed technical processes and extract technical informationAbility to coordinate with engineers, customer representatives, subject matter experts, vendors, customers and technical personnel as well as internal illustration teamExperience in project and time management and experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)Adaptable to changing priorities and workloadsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple publication efforts concurrentlyAbility to format documents to meet contract requirementsViewed by others as an expert within the technical writing disciplineExperience with coaching and training other employees within area of expertiseFocused on continuous improvement and innovation activities; can review, recommend, and support publications toolsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe FrameMakerExperience creating and integrating style sheets, programming scripts, XML and SGML programming, and FOSI programmingPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of IETM and Common Source Database (CSDB) development standards, best practices, and protocols. CSDB management experience a plus.Additional Information:Occasional travel required
