We are offering this opportunity to a service-oriented professional who enjoys variety and challenge to join our team of Marketing, Sales and Tradeshow professionals. This position supports the internal trade shows and sales teams through the strong development, management and execution of various marketing tactics and initiatives. The position offers challenging work with room for initiative and independence.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Communications:

Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive marketing plans to achieve sales goals for trade shows and sponsorship programs.

Create and implement trade show exhibitor communications plans to enhance exhibitor satisfaction.

Sponsorship Marketing:

Plan, develop, and distribute regular email communications with sponsors for AEM tradeshows and member events, including the Annual Conference, Product Safety & Stewardship Conference, Member to Member Packages, and Digital Access Advertising Campaigns.

Content and Collateral Management:

Oversee the creation and updating of digital ads, sales sheets, sponsorship presentations, infographics, and other materials for the sales team.

Ensure all content and collateral related to trade shows and sponsorships are current and effective.

Exhibit & Sponsorship Sales Websites:

Manage and update exhibit and sponsorship sales websites to ensure content is accurate and up to date.

Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of these websites.

Project Management:

Utilize strong project management skills to organize, plan, and prioritize projects, ensuring goals and deadlines are met.

Data Analytics:

Monitor metrics, analyze data, and report results.

Develop data-driven recommendations for course corrections in sponsorship sales campaigns and other marketing programs.

Budget Management:

Assist with the annual budget process.

Oversee the sales collateral budget and resource allocation to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.

Requirements:

A successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field and have 10+ years’ relevant experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

Strong Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate effectively with non-direct reports, including excellent presentation skills.

Strategic Marketing Expertise: In-depth understanding of strategic marketing best practices and technologies.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple high-level, complex projects simultaneously.

Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Mentorship and Guidance: Ability to provide guidance and support to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively.

Adaptability: Ability to seamlessly adapt to shifting priorities and work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring well-organized and detail-oriented work products.

Excellent Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar and proofreading abilities.
