to contribute to development efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.About the role:As a
Senior Technical Writer , your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps, which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems. You will review, plan, and evaluate network communications systems, provide documentation/project tracking and management reporting, and provide tactical and strategic input on overall network communications planning and related projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.What we are looking for:Ten plus years' experience as a Technical WriterExperience writing software development release notes, documentation configuration management, technical document creation and editingAbility to collaborate within a cross-functional team and an eagerness to learn how to advocate for end-users.Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and empathy.Minimum of a Bachelor's DegreeHighly preferred:A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.SAFe for Teams CertificationFamiliar with Sketch, FIGMA, InVision, Visio, Docusaurus, Adobe Creative SuitePlanning and participating in early-stage discovery, framing, and ideationAn initial understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.A foundational understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and activitiesInvolvement in delivering user experience interactionsRelevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems CommandExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program officeClearance Requirements:Active Secret security clearanceWork Type:May require up to 10% travelSalary Range:$85,000 - $110,000The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilitiesFully covered healthcare, dental, and vision coverage401(k) and company matchTake as you need PTO + 11 paid holidaysMonthly box of yummy snacks to eat while doing meaningful workAnd More!Our Vision Statement:We bridge the gap between humans and data through radical transparency and our obsession with the mission.Our Customer Obsession:We will approach every deliverable like it's a product.
